What to Expect When You Stay With Us

At The Lodge at Kukui'ula we embrace the value of kakou, “we are all in this together.” Rest assured knowing that we are devoted to your safety and health, in addition to the wellbeing of our associates and owners. When you return to your island home, we will be here to welcome you with Aloha. 


Although there will be some changes to our services and amenities, we are committed to ensuring you have an enjoyable stay. As things evolve, we will continue to keep you in-the-know, below are details on what you can expect when you stay with us.



For the wellbeing and comfort of our members and guests, our staff will wear masks and comply with social distancing recommendations. While we are always diligent in maintaining a high standard of health and sanitation, we have implemented and are maintaining an increased schedule of cleanings throughout the day to ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the property. We are carefully monitoring the health of our team members. Any team member that has any reason to believe they may have been exposed to COVID -19 or the flu, or are showing symptoms of either, are being asked to not come to work and self-quarantine.



We will be implementing contactless check-in and ensuring your arrival experience is as seamless and safe as possible with minimal interaction with staff and other guests.Valet parking will be temporarily suspended.  Guests will be asked to drop off passengers at the entrance of the Clubhouse and self-park in the lower lot. Shuttle services to and from the parking lot will be available.



Per the governor's emergency rule mask mandate, face coverings are no longer required for individuals in outdoor areas of the resort. They are still required indoors and in enclosed spaces included the Golf Pro Shop and locker rooms, Huaka'i Outfitters Shop (when doors and windows are closed) and the Hi'ilani Spa Boutique.

FRONT DESK | 9:00am - 6:00pm daily

Our front desk team will be available to greet you upon arrival and assist with your needs, package pick-up, and offer bell services to transport luggage or grocery provisions.



Daily and mid-stay housekeeping is temporarily suspended for the time being. Before you arrive, our team of in-house cleaning professionals will clean your residence using industry leading techniques, tools, and products in accordance with the Hyatt Global Cleanliness & Care Commitment, CDC and WHO guidelines. If you need anything during your stay such as additional towels or trash removal, please reach out and we will do our best to accommodate you!  Visit our page on safety and cleanliness protocols to see all the measures we are taking to prepare for your stay. 


THE CLUBHOUSE | 8:00am - 8:00pm Tuesday to Sunday 

Relax in our open-air lobby and sink into an easy chair after a long day of island adventures. The game room will be open and we have installed new furniture. To adhere to health regulations, we are temporarily removing snacks. We kindly ask that you and your guests bring a mask with you when you visit the Club and when you are in proximity to others not in your family. All of the Club's buildings and amenities have been deep cleaned and sanitized.


'UMEKE KITCHEN + BAR | 8:00am - 11:00am (Tues. - Sun.) & 5:00pm - 8:00pm (Tues. - Sat.) 

Open for lunch, dinner, take-out and delivery service with the last seating at 7:00pm. Reservations are strongly encouraged.  Please place any take-out or delivery orders by 7:00pm. Restaurant team members will be wearing masks for the safety and comfort of guests. Seating has been adjusted to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience, allowing for six feet between tables and bar seating has been removed and surfaces will be cleaned with increased regularity.       The Makai pool will be open to guests.  Poolside towel, food and beverage services will be available from Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 7:00pm. There will be no lifeguards on duty.


HI'ILANI SPA AND FITNESS CENTER | 8:00am - 6:00pm Tuesday to Sunday

The fitness center and Spa Lap Pool will open.  Ten guests will be allowed to use the fitness facility at a time. We will be asking guests to adhere to social distancing guidelines and wipe down equipment after each use with the cleaning supplies provided. Outdoor fitness classes will be offered weekly, please check the weekly Club Calendar for more information.


THE FARM | 7:00AM - 6:00PM Daily (Wed. & Sun. closes at 5pm)

Guests and members can visit The Farm to pick fresh flowers, seasonal herbs, greens, vegetables and tropical fruits.   


KUKUI'ULA GOLF | Tee Times through 12:40 pm (Tues. - Fri.) and 11:40am (Sat. & Sun.)

Members and guests have access to the full 18-hole golf course and practice facility. Rentals are available at the pro shop. For tee times, please call 808-742-8000 or email


TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL | 8:00am - 6:00pm daily

Tennis and pickleball courts will be open on a first-come, first-served basis. Please plan to bring your own rackets, balls, etc.
